I’m honored to announce that the Cañada Crescenta Democratic Club has endorsed my campaign for the Pasadena City College Board of Trustees, Area 1.

This endorsement means a great deal because it reflects a shared commitment to expanding educational opportunity, preparing students for the future workforce, and ensuring Pasadena City College continues to be one of California’s premier community colleges.

I was also grateful for the opportunity to speak with club members about my professional background in cleantech, sustainability, economic development, entrepreneurship, and workforce innovation. Our discussion focused on the rapid changes shaping our economy—from artificial intelligence to clean energy—and the important role community colleges play in preparing students with the skills and experiences needed to succeed.

As a lifelong resident of La Cañada Flintridge, a Pasadena City College alumnus, and someone who has spent my career building partnerships between government, education, startups, and industry, I believe PCC is uniquely positioned to help students thrive while strengthening our local economy. The college serves nearly 30,000 students each semester through university transfer pathways, career education, workforce training, and lifelong learning programs that benefit communities throughout the San Gabriel Valley.

If elected, I will work to protect the college's strong financial foundation, strengthen workforce partnerships, expand opportunities for students, and help ensure Pasadena City College remains a leader in innovation, affordability, and student success.

Thank you to the members of the Cañada Crescenta Democratic Club for your endorsement, your thoughtful questions, and your confidence in my campaign. I look forward to earning the support of voters throughout Trustee Area 1 this November as we work together to protect PCC's legacy while preparing students for the opportunities of tomorrow.
