Five of the seven sitting Pasadena City College Trustees have endorsed Francis Pollara for Trustee, Area 1.

Read that again. That's a majority of the entire board. Including Sandra Chen Lau – the trustee who currently holds the Area 1 seat we're running for.

Think about what that means. The people who know this job best, who show up to every meeting, who have seen what PCC needs – they're looking at this race and saying: this is the guy.

Here's why this matters. PCC is in the middle of real, tangible progress; new pathways to four-year universities, stronger workforce programs, more opportunity for students trying to build a future in a fast-changing economy. That progress doesn't happen by accident. It happens because people fight for it, meeting after meeting, year after year.

We don't want to slow that down. We want to build on it, and bring real experience in innovation, workforce development, and public-private partnerships to the table while we're at it.

That's the vision. And now five trustees are saying: let's do it together.

Here's the thing about endorsements – they're not just for elected officials and organizations. Anyone can do this. Seriously.

An endorsement is just you, putting your name out there and saying:
I believe in this campaign. That's it. You don't need to live in Area 1. You don't need a degree in education policy. You just need to be someone who wants to see PCC keep moving forward, and who's willing to say so.

This is how movements grow. One name, then another, then another, until it's impossible to ignore.
